Unlike the PTG floating reamer holders which are hands-free... The Bald Eagle floating reamer holder is a 2 piece floating reamer holder that is hands-on. Since this reamer holder is hands-on it is the best to use for Benchrest (BR) chambering application. As with all true floating reamer holders the Bald Eagle floating reamer holder allows for the free movement of a floating reamer in 3 directions vertical, horizontal and angular. Accepts 7/16" Diameter Shanks.

1 - 7/16" Bald Eagle Collet
1 - Morse Taper Arbor (choose option above)
2 - Set Screws

Because a Bald Eagle floating reamer holder is not rigidly restrained like other methods of reamer control, it takes experience through repetition to use it proficiently. Before working with an expensive barrel, we highly recommend practicing on a scrap barrel until you are familiar with the feel and technique.
