Description

A muzzle brake which is reamed to match the barrel bore provides better accuracy and reduced fouling within the muzzle brake itself. Our Muzzle Brake Reamers are manufactured in heat-treated HSS (High Speed Steel). Each reamer is 6" (~150mm) long and cuts .020 - .025 larger than the groove diameter depending on caliber. NOTE: All PTG Reamers and Cutting Tools are designed to work with petroleum-based lubricant. Water-based lubricant can give acceptable results, however the life of the tool will be reduced. For best results use petroleum-based lubricant.
