This is the only tap used with straight bushings that are equal to single point thread. Why spend 2-3 hours to set up a fixture in a lathe and single point when our Piloted Tap Mandrel is guaranteed to be the same precision. TiN Coated. If the threads are oversized, a factory barrel will not fit and new barrel threads must be cut to match. 1/2" diameter pilot.
